C# Program to Overload Minus Plus ʺ-ʺ Operator
C# Program to Overload Minus Plus ʺ-ʺ Operator
This is a C# Program to illustrate overloading of minus(-).
This C# Program Illustrates Overloading of minus(-).
Here with the operator keyword, public static operator methods used by the compiler when the designated operators are encountered.
Here is source code of the C# Program to Illustrate Overloading of minus(-). The C# program is successfully compiled and executed with Microsoft Visual Studio. The program output is also shown below.
/* * C# Program to Illustrate Overloading of minus(-) */ using System; class overloadpgm { public int value; public static overloadpgm operator -(overloadpgm a, overloadpgm b) { overloadpgm overloadpg = new overloadpgm(); overloadpg.value = a.value - b.value; return overloadpg; } public static overloadpgm operator --(overloadpgm c) { c.value--; return c; } } class Program { static void Main() { overloadpgm d = new overloadpgm(); d--; Console.WriteLine(d.value); d--; Console.WriteLine(d.value); overloadpgm g = new overloadpgm(); g--; Console.WriteLine(g.value); overloadpgm t = d - g; Console.WriteLine(t.value); Console.ReadLine(); } }
In this C# program, we are creating an object variable ‘d’ for overloadpgm class. The operator keyword, public static operator method is used by the compiler when the designated operators are encountered.
Using ‘value’ variable find the difference between the values of ‘a’ and ‘b’ variables respectively. Again using the operator method overload the minus operator and decrement the value of ‘value’ variable.
