TIBCO Administrator is a web GUI which enables you to manage your domain at one place and using administrator you can manage & monitor users, Machines, applications etc.. In this tutorial I am going to share a few details about the main modules which we use regularly in TIBCO Administrator.
In TIBCO Administrator, we have 3 main modules
TIBCO Administrator Modules
As the name suggests, this module will help us to add/remove users, security options, user permission etc. In user management, we have 3 options. Users, Roles and Security. We can create, delete, or rename users from here, also can set the permission for each user from here. When you click on the username it will open with a new window with three tabs. General, Role Membership & Permissions as below image. The permission tab allows us to set permission for each application and components for a user.
Administrator Modules user permissions
Using this module we will be able to manage & monitor the servers which are a part of this domain. In Installed software section provides all the software instaled in each server and its basic information. We can disable or enable these Softwares from Administrator.
And in the Machines section, it will display all the server names in the domain and current alert status, uptime and OS version. And when we click on the machine name, we will be able to see the current CPU usage, disk utilization status etc. Please note that this won’t send any alert or until we configure a rule base to do the same. We will discuss how to configure it in another section. This page will have information about all the running process in those servers.
Using this module we will be able to manage all the deployed Tibco services. In this module, we will be able to see the current status of each integration and also we can start/stop these from the administrator. Read more about these in
